In a bad economy many companies immediately cancel advertising. I had been in Marketing for over 30 years before I opened The Silver Barn and never understood that philosophy. So, it is time to practice what I preached. We had a great year, but how do you take a second great year and make it a third? In an uncertain economic climate it is easy to take a “wait and see” attitude. But, I believe you reach in your bag of tricks and dig a little deeper to find a new element. For us for year THREE it will be an expanded Bridal Department with more merchandise selections, and an expanded advertising campaign along I-10 and 71S. So, when you are in Texas coming out of Houston heading to San Antonio, or heading south on 71 out of Austin….honk when you see our billboard. You’re saying hi to a friend.
